How much web space you will need depends on how much space you intend to use. MyHobbySite only requires five megabytes of space to be installed, but of course more space would be necessary to upload files. Generally, one gigabyte is more than enough. If you have additional modules installed that allow uploads of images and other files, such as the Live Recordings module, the least you will want is one gigabyte. The average size of a MyHobbySite installation using the Live Recordings module with 1,000 recording entries (all with screenshots and cover previews) is between one and two gigabytes.
