A custom skin enables your website to have a unique design, which visitors to your website will see. Examples of skins designed by us can be seen on this page. This article outlines how we go about designing custom website skins for customers, and the terms and time frames under which the customers' skins are designed.

When you purchase our custom skin design service, you will be contacted via support ticket (you should receive an e-mail notification when the ticket is created) in your client area within two business days (usually within a few hours after purchase) with questions regarding the design of your custom skin. Custom skins are normally completed within seven business days after purchase. There are times when a waiting list may be put into effect, such as after sales and software upgrades. If this happens, you will be notified by e-mail.

There are two steps to designing a custom skin:

1. Based on the information you provide in the support ticket, we will design a basic concept image of what the skin would look like. The idea is to give an impression of the overall look and the colors and images that would be used. This generally takes one to two business days. After you receive the concept image, you may ask for adjustments, then we will modify the concept image and send it to you again. This process will repeat a maximum of three times. After the third concept image is sent, the skin design will be considered final.

2. We code the skin, which generally takes one to three days to complete. You will be given a link to view the live skin, and a final chance to ask for any minor adjustments, such as changing the font face or text/link colors. Finally, the skin will be sent to you via e-mail with installation instructions. If desired, we will install the skin for you.
